Orange Cassidy vs. Alex Reynolds

Rampage began with an even more ambivalent Orange Cassidy than usual taking on Alex Reynolds. This match had Chris Jericho on commentary and he immediately started using phrases he recently attempted to trademark. Reynolds and Silver who was at ringside mocked the Best Friends’ hug and that set Cassidy off as he started crushing Reynolds with massive blows. This also led to John Silver hitting Cassidy with a brainbuster on the outside behind the referee’s back. The theme here was that Cassidy had no friends and was trying to go solo. Silver continued to get involved until Cassidy was able to hit him with the Stundog Millionaire and the Orange Punch which fired him up. This led to him hitting the Orange Punch on Reynolds for the win.

Renee Paquette got in the ring and asked Orange what happened with Trent. This brought Beretta out who was still wearing a Best Friends shirt. Chuck Taylor appeared behind Cassidy but simply walked past him toward Trent. Trent exclaimed, “Are you my best friend or not?” and just Chuck walked out.

Anna Jay Promo

Alex Marvez interviewed Anna Jay and she said everyone is messing around and she’s over it. AZM interrupted and called Mina and Mariah stupid.

TBS Championship Cut Short?

Next up was TBS Champion Julia Hart defending against Legit Leyla Hirsch. It was explained that the “House Rules” here was that Brody King could not be at ringside. Not far into this match, Leyla Hirsch hit Julia Hart with a Tope to the outside and something seemed to go wrong for Julia as she immediately grabbed her bicep/shoulder area. All Julia could do after that was roll back into the ring and roll up Hirsch for the win.

Don Callis Family

Callis promoted that tomorrow night on Collision Hobbs & Kyle Fletcher will take on Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson. Callis said he didn’t care about winning he just wanted Danielson to be punished ahead of his match with Will Ospreay.

Cool Hand vs. Zak Knight

Next up was the culmination of months of storyline with Cool Hand Ange taking on Zak Knight accompanied by Saraya and Harley Cameron. Parker attempted to jump Knight before the bell but was quickly outmuscled and bloodied outside the ring. As the bell finally rang, Parker mounted a brief offense before being dominated by Knight.

At this point, Saraya and Cameron were ejected for attempting to interfere.

Zak Knight then clobbered a defenseless Parker, earning the win.

Kyle O’Reilly / Rocky Romero / UK

Kyle O’Reilly told Rocky Romero that every time they’ve faced off he’s loved it. Romero brought up the fact that he’s facing Roderick Strong in an Eliminator match tomorrow night. Strong and UK interrupted and said he was bothered that it seemed like O’Reilly wanted a shot at the title and Kyle admitted it would be cool.

Jay White vs. Matt Sydal

The next match of the evening was Jay White taking on Matt Sydal. The pair had a competitive match but Jay White persevered with the Blade Runner.
