An upcoming reality TV series will follow Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan as he tends to the day-to-day operations of the National Wrestling Alliance.

“Adventures in Carnyland,” an eight-part series, is expected to debut on The CW app on May 14th, per a report from Deadline.

The show, directed by Brian Volk-Weis and Ian Roumain, focuses on Corgan’s attempt to take the NWA and restore the promotion “to its former glory,” per the report. It is teased that Corgan’s personal life will be covered as well, as the story mentions that the musician juggles being a father and planning a wedding while working in the wrestling industry.

Earlier this year, NWA announced a streaming deal with the CW App to broadcast the promotion’s weekly TV series. The initial details regarding an “unscripted” show focusing on Corgan were also mentioned in the announcement. Now the show has a confirmed title and start date.

Corgan purchased NWA in 2017, hoping to relaunch the legendary wrestling brand and bring it back to relevance. The promotion launched a weekly web-series, “NWA Powerrr,” in late 2019 that has become a focal point of the promotion.
