WWE Chief Operating Officer Brad Blum has reportedly resigned from his position at the company.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Blum tendered his resignation on Wednesday, May 1st.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has corroborated the reporting.
According to Meltzer’s reporting, Blum made the sole decision to resign and no one forced him out of the company.
Blum was revealed by POST Wrestling’s John Pollock and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, together with Tim Marchman, as “Corporate Officer No. 2” in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.
The lawsuit alleges that Blum was a key lieutenant of Vince McMahon and was instrumental in the hiring of Grant in 2019 when Blum was serving as Executive Vice President in charge of operations.
However, there is no suggestion that Blum knew of any alleged acts of sexual violence or cruel and degrading treatment.
In March, WWE stated:
Neither Nick Khan nor Brad Blum, prior to the lawsuit being filed on January 25, 2024, were aware of any allegation by Ms. Grant that she was the victim of abuse or unwanted physical contact; nor does the complaint allege that either had knowledge of such.
Blum first joined WWE in 2006 and has held several positions, including Vince McMahon’s Chief of Staff. He briefly left the company in 2022 after McMahon’s “retirement”. However, he returned after McMahon staged his return in early 2023, becoming WWE Chief Operating Officer after the TKO merger.

Blum reports to Nick Khan and currently oversees Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Creative Services, IT & Technology, Insights & Analytics, Real Estate & Facilities, and Corporate Travel.
It is not yet known when Blum will be finishing up with the company.
