Chad Gable qualifies for men’s MITB Ladder match, exits ring after Wyatt Sick6’s Nikki Cross appears

A sequence of events on Raw involving Chad Gable.

The arrival of The Wyatt Sick6 took place at the conclusion of the 6/17 WWE Raw. One of the casualties of their arrival was Chad Gable. Gable had been announced for a men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match but was pulled after the attack. Later in the week, it was shared that Gable would be set to compete.

He arrived to the 6/24 show with security. Gable went on to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match by emerging victorious from a Triple Threat involving Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. Strowman was taken out of the match by Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Bálor, J.D. McDonagh & Carlito).

As Gable was celebrating the win, there was an appearance made by Wyatt Sick6’s Nikki Cross, who Gable swiftly got away from.

Nikki took a box over to Michael Cole on commentary and the security that was by the announce desk had been laid out. Cole opened the box and it was a VHS tape with ‘play me’ written on it. He handed it over to the production team.

Backstage, Gable went looking for Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri & Akira Tozawa) to apologize for how he’s been treating them. Despite the apology, Otis said that he’s done. Diamond Mine (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed & Ivy Nile) then came into frame to check on Gable and he told them he needs help.
