Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown following WrestleMania led to the show’s highest viewership over the past year.

The show averaged 2,952,000 viewers on the USA Network with a combination of the post-WrestleMania buzz and Daniel Bryan’s first match on television since 2015. It was the third-highest program on cable Tuesday night, trailing Sean Hannity and Rachel Maddow’s programs. The top network show of the night was the newest episode of Roseanne, which did 13,765,000 viewers on ABC.

The number is SmackDown’s highest since April 11th of 2017, which was the week of the Superstar Shakeup (which did a higher number than the post-WrestleMania SmackDown last year).

If you exclude the July 2016 “Draft”, this week’s number is the second-highest SmackDown number since the brand split in 2016.
