Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced that the Globe Theatre will host the annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament in September.

The announcement was made Wednesday night that BOLA will take place on September 14th – 16th at the promotion’s new venue. The tournament is running later in September, avoiding the same weekend as “All In”, which is taking place September 1st in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

It is the first time the tournament is taking place outside of the American Legion Post since 2008. Earlier this year, PWG announced they were leaving the venue, which is in the process of being sold. However, at the recent All-Star Weekend set of shows, Excalibur told the audience that due to a snag in the sale, it is possible that the upcoming “Bask in his Glory” card on May 25th may not be their final show at American Legion Post.

PWG has no events scheduled at the American Legion Post after May 25th with a July 13th date also booked at the Globe Theatre for “Threemendous V”.

BOLA is one of the biggest tournaments of the year with a showcase of established and rising worldwide talent converging for the weekend with some of the best wrestling of the year. Past winners include Davey Richards, Low Ki, Kenny Omega, Joey Ryan, El Generico, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Zack Sabre Jr., Marty Scurll, and Ricochet.
