Mae Young Classic to air weekly, beginning September 5th

The WWE has confirmed that the Mae Young Classic will premiere on Wednesday, September 5th at 9 pm Eastern following NXT and will air weekly on the WWE Network.

The WWE has confirmed that the Mae Young Classic will premiere on Wednesday, September 5th at 9 pm Eastern following NXT and will air weekly on the WWE Network.

The commentary team will feature Michael Cole, Beth Phoenix, and Renee Young with Cathy Kelley and Shadia Bseiso serving backstage interviewers on the series.

The series will also feature a “Bracketology” special that was shot on Tuesday with hosts Mauro Ranallo and Beth Phoenix previewing the 32-woman tournament. The Bracketology preview will air Wednesday, August 29th at 9 pm Eastern.

The weekly show will lead to the finals of the tournament on Sunday, October 28th at the “Evolution” pay-per-view.

The Mae Young Classic will be taped tonight and tomorrow from Full Sail University and will feature the following participants:
