The UFC has announced an extension of their Canadian television partnership with TSN with a multi-year agreement.

The UFC has announced an extension of their Canadian television partnership with TSN with a multi-year agreement.

In an interview with Aaron Bronsteter of TSN, the UFC’s Senior Vice President of International and Content Dave Shaw stated that the deal would see the UFC’s content split for Canadians between TSN and Fight Pass. The previous deal saw TSN and Fight Network split the television content.

We have confirmed at POST Wrestling that Fight Network will not be part of the new Canadian deal.

ESPN+ is not available in Canada and those cards will be airing on TSN. The Canadian network will also begin airing Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, which is moving from Fight Pass to ESPN+ in the United States.

TSN will receive 22 Fight Night cards and the pay-per-view preliminary cards. The Fight Pass prelims for these shows will still air on the streaming service for Canadians.

The UFC and TSN will be issuing a formal release on Monday to announce the agreement.
