WWE announces Worlds Collide Tournament for Rumble weekend

The WWE has announced its Worlds Collide tournament for Royal Rumble weekend at Axxess featuring talent from NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live.

The WWE has announced a tournament for Royal Rumble weekend involving talent from NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live.

The tournament will take place over two days at the Royal Rumble Axxess sessions at the Phoenix Convention Center on Saturday, January 26th and Sunday, January 27th.

There will be fifteen performers and the tournament will be billed as “Worlds Collide” with the winner receiving a future title shot of their choosing.

The tournament will be taped for a future airing on the WWE Network and there will be additional NXT UK television tapings on Friday and Sunday at Axxess.

Below is the talent listed for the event:

NXT: Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, and Otis Dozovic

NXT UK: Tyler Bate, Mark Andrews, Jordan Devlin, Travis Banks, and Zack Gibson

205 Live: Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak, TJP, Tony Nese, TBA

205 Live listed Humberto Carrillo and later changed that to a “wrestler to be named later”.
