Daniel Bryan to defend the WWE title in Elimination Chamber match

On Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, it was announced that the WWE title will be defended by Daniel Bryan at the Elimination Chamber card.  

On Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, it was announced that the WWE title will be defended by Daniel Bryan at the Elimination Chamber card on February 17th.

Bryan will defend the title against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, and Mustafa Ali in the second Elimination Chamber match set for the card in Houston.

This joins the previously announced Elimination Chamber match involving six women’s tag teams to crown the WWE’s women’s tag champions. The first teams to qualify for the match were Nia Jax & Tamina and the Riott Squad. On SmackDown, the team of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were added to the match with three teams remaining. On Raw next week, a match between Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Nikki Cross & Alicia Fox will determine the final Raw team in the match.

It was also announced Tuesday that Shane McMahon and The Miz will defend the SmackDown tag titles against The Usos at the pay-per-view in Houston, Texas.
