NXT held television tapings Wednesday night at Full Sail University featuring an appearance by the WWE women’s tag champions and the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Sasha Banks and Bayley appeared to announce that their women’s tag titles would be defended on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will feature eight teams in a single elimination tournament and the winners challenging War Raiders for the tag titles at TakeOver Brooklyn on April 5th.
Below are the results from the tournament matches, which will begin airing in two weeks:
*Aleister Black and Ricochet over Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichenr
*The Forgotten Sons over Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch
*Moustache Mountain over The Street Profits
*Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargany over Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish
*Forgotten Sons over Moustache Mountain in semi-finals
*Ricochet and Aleister Black over DIY in the semi-finals
The finals will feature The Forgotten Sons taking on Ricochet and Aleister Black at a later date.
