There was a scary moment during Monday night’s SmackDown live event in White Plains, New York during a match between women’s champion Asuka and Mandy Rose.

During the match, Asuka landed badly with those in attendance concerned it was her neck that was affected. The match was called off and officials came down to ringside to check on her and assist her to the back.

Later in the night, Asuka posted the following update indicating she was okay:

I’m sorry for worrying you. Hit my back but That’s fine. It is neither a concussion nor a neck.

We were told that Asuka was originally scheduled for a match on SmackDown Tuesday night against Sonya Deville. We have not heard any update regarding a change to those plans.
