During Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, it was announced that Rey Mysterio will challenge Samoa Joe for the United States at WrestleMania 35.
The match was set up following Mysterio’s pinfall on Joe last week in a tag match involving Mysterio and R-Truth against Joe and Andrade.
Mysterio made the announcement on the show alongside his son Dominic, who has recently trained at the Storm Wrestling Academy under Lance Storm and is pursuing a wrestling career. Dominic stated he would be seated in the front row at WrestleMania on April 7th at MetLife Stadium.
