On Monday night, it was the first night of the annual Superstar Shakeup with Raw and SmackDown Live taking place from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
The following moves were made during the three-hour broadcast:
*The Miz was the first performer to move to Raw. He jumped Shane McMahon from behind in the opening segment and brawled on the floor. During the brawl, Miz was cut open on the head and bleeding to end the segment.
*The team of Ricochet and Aleister Black teamed with Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder to take on The Revival and the debuting War Raiders, who have been called up to Raw and will now be called The Viking Experience. Hanson is now “Ivar” and Raymond Rowe is “Erik”.
*After the show, the WWE’s website confirmed Ricochet and Aleister Black are exclusive to Raw. The site added that EC3 and Lars Sullivan will also be on Raw.
The announcers stated they were not sure if this meant Ricochet and Black are now exclusive to Raw or if they could move to SmackDown on Tuesday.
*In a video feature, they announced Cedric Alexander is moving to Raw as the announcers explained the draft applies to 205 Live, as well.
*Finn Balor came out for a match and his opponent was revealed to be Andrade, who was joined by Zelina Vega in their move to Raw. Andrade won a non-title match and pinned Balor.
*Elias did his segment in the ring, insulted the Montreal Canadiens and was interrupted by Rey Mysterio, who cleared the ring and sent Elias to the back. Mysterio proceeded to be attacked by Lars Sullivan and hit with the Freak Accident and a running sit out powerbomb.
*Chad Gable and Bobby Roode challenged any team to come out and face them, which led to The Usos arrival. The Usos won with the two hitting double splashes onto Gable.
*A match was set up with Bayley challenging The IIconics and would find a partner. Naomi came out with Bayley for the match and was the latest addition to Raw.
*There was a recap of all the moves and they added Eric Young to the list of names going to Raw.
*Natalya challenged Becky Lynch for a future match for the Raw women’s title. They were interrupted by Lacey Evans, who announced she is officially on Raw. Evans proceeded to have a match with Natalya to determine the next contender for the Raw women’s title.
*In the main event, AJ Styles was revealed as the partner of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to take on Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin.
