Ruby Riott has undergone the first of two shoulder surgeries to fix a bilateral injury. This past Tuesday she underwent surgery on the right shoulder.
WWE posted news of the surgery and added that the performer will be having the same procedure on the left shoulder later. No timetable was provided for the second operation.
Riott was on the recent European tour and had wrestled as recently as last week. It is believed these had been nagging injuries that she had been dealing with.
The 28-year old was signed by WWE in 2016 and called up to the main roster in November 2017. She was paired with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan as The Riott Squad but were broken up at this year’s Superstar Shakeup when Morgan was moved to SmackDown while Riott and Logan remained on Raw.
