New Japan Pro Wrestling has officially announced that Juice Robinson will defend the IWGP United States title against Jon Moxley at Sumo Hall.

The match will take place on the final night of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament on Wednesday, June 5th and will be Moxley’s first since leaving WWE in April.

Moxley was revealed as the mystery man in New Japan’s series of “Time’s Up” promos leading to Robinson’s next challenger.

During a press conference, Robinson brought up their history starting on the same day in Florida Championship Wrestling. He added that the two had one singles match, which Moxley won, in January 2012.

The Sumo Hall card will feature the finals of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament and a singles match between Jay White and Hiroshi Tanahashi.
