G1 Climax Night 12: Two eliminations in the B Block

On Thursday, the G1 Climax featured the B Block tournament matches in Fukuoka with the first set of eliminations in the block.

In the main event, Hirooki Goto defeated Tomohiro Ishii after landing the GTR and placing Goto into a seven-way tie with Ishii, Juice Robinson, Toru Yano, Tetsuya Naito, Jeff Cobb, and Jay White with six points with all of them still alive.

On Thursday, Jon Moxley suffered his first loss of the tournament with a countout loss to Toru Yano that keeps several members of the block alive. If Moxley had won, it would have led to Ishii, Yano, Naito, Cobb, and Taichi being eliminated but they all remain due to Moxley’s loss.

There were two members eliminated in Fukuoka with Taichi and Shingo Takagi mathematically out. Jay White defeated Taichi on the card and Jeff Cobb pinned Takagi leaving them with four points and out of the running.

The G1 is off Friday and resumes this weekend with shows in Osaka on Saturday and Sunday. Below are the tournament matches for each card:
