Pro Wrestling Guerilla’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament concluded Sunday night with a show receiving tremendous reviews of the crowning of a first-time winner.
The three-way final came down to Jonathan Gresham, David Starr, and eventual winner Bandido.
Bandido went to the final in 2018 alongside Keith Lee with the two losing to Jeff Cobb.
Here are the results from Sunday’s card at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles:
*Dragon Lee over Jake Atlas in the quarterfinals
*Bandido over Brody King in the quarterfinals
*Jonathan Gresham over A-Kid in the quarterfinals
*Joey Janela over Rey Fenix in the quarterfinals
*Darby Allin over Penta El Zero M in the quarterfinals
*David Starr over Jeff Cobb in the quarterfinals (Jeff Cobb was last year’s winner and the current PWG champion)
*Dark Order over Rey Horus & Aramis
*Jonathan Gresham over Joey Janela in the semifinals
*Bandido over Dragon Lee in the semifinals (from one live report I received, this was the match of the show)
*David Starr over Darby Allin in the semifinals
*Orange Cassidy, Jungle Boy, Artemis Spencer, Caveman Ugg & Paris De Silva over Tony Deppen, Black Taurus, Kyle Fletcher, Lucky Kid & Mick Moretti
*Bandido over Jonathan Gresham and David Starr to win the 2019 Battle of Los Angeles
