New Japan Pro Wrestling has released the participants of the upcoming Super Junior Tag League tournament that starts next week, and the finals take place at Power Struggle in November.

The major news is that Dragon Lee is not included and will be replaced by Volador Jr., who teams with Titan. Lee was expected to team with Titan until recent issues with CMLL led to his departure from the company. After his family members Rush and La Bestia del Ring announced they were going independent, CMLL put out a statement that Rush and Lee had been released.

The Super Junior Tag League was going to be the first sign if Lee’s exit from CMLL would affect New Japan’s relationship with the Mexican promotion with New Japan opting to keep CMLL happy and use their talent.
