During Saturday’s NXT TakeOver broadcast, the company announced that the next TakeOver special will take place on a Sunday night next February.
The next TakeOver special is scheduled for Sunday, February 16th from Portland, Oregon with a 7 pm Eastern start time. This will be the first time that a TakeOver event will be placed on a Sunday.
Unlike previous years, there will not be a TakeOver special over Royal Rumble weekend and in its place will be a Worlds Collide event running that weekend.
Prior to the event in Portland, there will be an NXT UK TakeOver event from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England on Sunday, January 12th.
On the post-TakeOver media call, Paul Levesque stated there would still be a TakeOver event on WrestleMania weekend.
