All Elite Wrestling is presenting their ‘Homecoming’ edition of Dynamite on New Year’s Day and being added to the lineup is a one-on-one match between Jon Moxley and Trent. Prior to this match announcement, Moxley was already slated for the show as he is set to respond to the Inner Circle’s offer about joining the group.
Also slated for the 1/1 edition of Dynamite is Kenny Omega teaming with The Young Bucks to face Pentagon Jr., Fenix and PAC. Kris Statlander was scheduled to challenge Riho for the AEW Women’s World Championship but due to her commitments with Bar Wrestling, Statlander will receive her title shot on January 8th in Southaven, Mississippi. Riho is still defending her title on January 1st but the match has been converted into a four-way involving Nyla Rose, Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida.
Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin will have their rematch on the 1/1 episode of Dynamite and MJF is announcing the stipulation[s] for he and Cody’s future match as well.
On top of the AEW Women’s World Title match on January 8th, Dustin Rhodes is teaming with Cody to take on Pentagon Jr. and Fenix.
