WWE Friday Night SmackDown Reels In 2.439 Million Overnight Viewers For 12/27

The overnight viewership for the 12/27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is up from last week's number.

The overnight viewership numbers are in for the 12/27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Detroit, Michigan and according to Showbuzz Daily, the show reeled in 2.439 million overnight viewers. This number is up from last week’s final number which was 2.395 million viewers. This week’s SmackDown was headlined by Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple-Threat match to determine Bray Wyatt’s challenger at the Royal Rumble on January 26th.

In the 18-34 demographic, SmackDown averaged an 0.4 rating and did an 0.65 in the 18-49 demographic. Below are the top five videos on WWE’s YouTube channel from the show:

Coming out of the last episode of SmackDown in 2019, Daniel Bryan earned an opportunity to challenge for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble and the lineup for that show includes the aforementioned match along with the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
