Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin Made Official For WWE Royal Rumble

Before competing in the men's Royal Rumble match, Baron Corbin and Roman Reigns will clash in singles competition.

Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin have been at odds with one another in some form or fashion for the greater part of the last two years. Corbin and Reigns’ feud is continuing into the new year and into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 26th. WWE announced that Reigns versus Corbin is official for the 33rd annual Royal Rumble event.

Reigns and Corbin are both in the men’s Royal Rumble match but before they compete for an opportunity to challenge for their brand’s championship at WrestleMania 36, they’ll clash with one another earlier in the night.

On the January 10th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Reigns speared Corbin during Corbin’s tag team main event match which caused a disqualification. The closing sequences of that segment also saw the return of Robert Roode who was suspended last month for violating WWE’s talent wellness policy. In the main event, Corbin was teaming with Dolph Ziggler against The Usos and Ziggler has also been added to the men’s Royal Rumble match. With the recent announcements, here’s the updated lineup for the 2020 Royal Rumble pay-per-view:

30-Man Royal Rumble Match: Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Otis, Tucker, Dolph Ziggler, King Corbin and Elias

30-Woman Royal Rumble match: Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

WWE Universal Championship: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Daniel Bryan

RAW Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka
