Rich Swann Undergoes Surgery

IMPACT Wrestling announced that Rich Swann has undergone surgery. Swann suffered an ankle injury two days prior to IMPACT's Hard To Kill pay-per-view.

IMPACT Wrestling made the announcement over their official social media channels that former IMPACT X Division Champion Rich Swann has undergone surgery. Swann was last in action at IMPACT’s ‘Bash At The Brewery 2’ show in San Antonio and he suffered an ankle injury during an eight-person tag team match and had to be pulled out of the match. IMPACT did not clarify if Swann’s surgery was for his ankle or not.

Two days after the brewery show, Swann was supposed to team with Willie Mack to take on The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships. With Swann’s injury, Mack took on Alexander and Page in a Handicap match.

Rich Swann shot a segment with Willie Mack following the Hard To Kill match and encouraged Mack not be down about losing a shot at winning the IMPACT Tag Titles. While mentioning Hard To Kill, there is a review of the pay-per-view up on the site that can be heard at this link.
