Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite ended with an attack by The Inner Circle on Darby Allin that included Sammy Guevera driving the skateboard into Allin’s throat.
The angle culminated with Jon Moxley running out to save Allin and fight off The Inner Circle with a baseball bat. This followed the main event where Chris Jericho, Santana & Ortiz defeated Allin & Private Party when Jericho pinned Isiah Kassidy after hitting the Judas Effect.
Next week’s show takes place from the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, which was the venue of the inaugural NWA TNA pay-per-view in June 2002. They announced that legends from the Alabama wrestling scene would be in attendance for meet-and-greet sessions for fans.
