During Saturday night’s MLW Fightland taping in Philadelphia, the promotion ran a teaser video to announced a working relationship with Dragon Gate out of Japan.

The company had previously announced a deal with Pro Wrestling NOAH last summer but this new deal with Dragon Gate will replace it as their Japanese partner.

MLW and Dragon Gate had been in talks with the deal signed over the past week with the plan to bring Dragon Gate talent over to the U.S once they complete the process of securing visas for the talent.

It is not known what the time frame is for the first wave of Dragon Gate talent to appear in the U.S. as the process of securing visas is said to be longer in the current climate. MLW will begin the immigration process immediately.

It’s believed that NOAH will continue to be working with Impact Wrestling. POST Wrestling did reach out to an official at Impact to inquire if they now have an exclusive working relationship with NOAH and are awaiting a response.

MLW recently announced that they have signed on with ICM Partners for the agency to shop their broadcast and streaming rights. The company currently runs weekly on beIN Sports and beIN Sports Espanol with their ‘Fusion’ program.
