On top of being a part of Ring of Honor’s Supercard Of Honor show on April 4th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will also be running their own show in Tampa, Florida on April 2nd. The show is the company’s Lion’s Break event but it will feature a handful of top names along with young lions and rising stars in the company.
New Japan made the announcement via their official website that Juice Robinson, David Finlay, Rocky Romero, Shingo Takagi, Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa), KENTA, Bad Luck Fale, Taiji Ishimori, Jado, Gedo, Amazing Red and TJP have been added to the Lion’s Break Project 3 lineup.
Lion’s Break Project 3 takes place on April 2nd and as mentioned, several of the names listed above will be in action just two days later at Supercard Of Honor. KENTA and Taiji Ishimori are teaming up to face Jeff Cobb and Dan Maff. Also, Amazing Red is slated to team with Rocky Romero and Will Ospreay to challenge Bandido, Rey Horus and Flamita for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships.
Before heading to Florida for their two shows on the weekend, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be presenting Sakura Genesis on March 31st at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
