The main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite from Cedar Park, Texas saw Jon Moxley take on Santana of The Inner Circle. Prior to the match, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho said that if Moxley defeated Santana which he did, on next week’s Dynamite in Atlanta, Georgia, Moxley would be taking on former ROH World Television Champion Jeff Cobb. Cobb appeared on Dynamite as well and hit Moxley with the “Tour Of The Islands” and stood tall in the ring with The Inner Circle.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reported in January that Jeff Cobb is no longer under an exclusive deal with Ring of Honor. His deal expired on January 1st and instead of signing a new long-term deal, he opted to sign a per-show deal with the company. Jeff Cobb was in action this past Sunday at ROH’s Free Enterprise show and he’ll be in action at Supercard Of Honor in a tag team match involving himself and Dan Maff taking on KENTA and Taiji Ishimori.
Cody vs. Wardlow is slated for next week and if Cody can defeat Wardlow, he’ll have his match with MJF at Revolution on February 29th. MJF defeated Jungle Boy on Dynamite. There will be a tag team battle royal in Atlanta to determine the challengers to the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Revolution. While mentioning the tag titles, after successfully defending their titles against Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky on Dynamite, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega are defending their tag titles again next week against Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix.
Also, Darby Allin issued the challenge to Sammy Guevara for Revolution after The Inner Circle jammed a skateboard in Darby’s throat several weeks ago on Dynamite.
