Tonight’s edition of NXT on the USA Network was the post-NXT TakeOver: Portland show and it was at TakeOver where Dakota Kai defeated Tegan Nox in a Street Fight with the assistance of Raquel Gonzalez. During a backstage interview on NXT, Raquel explained that she aligned with Dakota because they both have felt left out in the past and that is no longer going to be the case. William Regal approached both athletes and let them know that in two weeks on the March 4th episode of NXT, Dakota Kai will face Tegan Nox inside of a Steel Cage.
After scoring a win over Johnny Gargano at TakeOver, Finn Balor will be back next week and he stated during his promo that he will make his next move then.
Bianca Belair made an appearance during a match between Chelsea Green and Kayden Carter. Bianca grabbed a microphone in the middle of a match and made it clear that she is not too fond of Charlotte Flair pushing her into the steel steps at TakeOver and Bianca stated that she’s going to put hands on Charlotte.

Also, Tommaso Ciampa is scheduled to be in action as he’ll take on Austin Theory next week. Theory was set to compete on tonight’s show but Ciampa came out to the ring to address Johnny Gargano costing him the NXT Championship. Theory tried to attack Ciampa from behind but it resulted in a beat down courtesy of Tommaso.
