On Friday Night SmackDown, a Gauntlet match was held to determine which team would enter Sunday’s tag team Elimination Chamber last among the six teams.

The match featured Heavy Machinery running the table from the start by eliminating New Day, The Lucha House Party, The Usos, and The Miz & John Morrison before falling to Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode in the last match. The match ended with Otis setting up for the caterpillar on Roode and was hit by a superkick from Ziggler, who pinned Otis.

A new match was added to Sunday’s card as Drew Gulak will take on Daniel Bryan after a challenge was made by Bryan in the locker room. This follows weeks of Gulak’s story where he has cited Bryan’s weaknesses with other wrestlers failing to beat Bryan.

*Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya vs. Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Ruby Riott vs. Sarah Logan in the Elimination Chamber match
