Report: AOP’s Rezar suffered torn right bicep on WWE RAW

Former NXT and RAW Tag Team Champion Rezar suffered a torn right bicep on this past Monday's WWE RAW.

This past Monday on RAW, The AOP (Akam & Rezar) teamed with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy to defeat The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) and RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) in the main event of the show. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Rezar suffered a torn right bicep during the match. The injury occurred when Montez Ford hit a crossbody onto Rezar and Rezar continued to work the rest of the match with the injury although he was on the outside for the majority of the bout following the injury.

Fightful Select reported on Monday night/early Tuesday morning that Rezar suffered an arm injury.

In January of 2019, Akam of The Authors Of Pain underwent knee surgery. The former NXT and RAW Tag Team Champions debuted on the RAW brand following WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Upon their arrival, they were split away from Paul Ellering who managed them in NXT.

Akam and Rezar are currently aligned with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. There is no word on if Rezar will undergo surgery or the timetable for his recovery but as more details come to forefront regarding the health of Rezar, POST Wrestling will either update this article or publish a new one.
