Wherever you are reading this, we hope you are safe and dealing as best you can with the pandemic that has put the world on hold.
Here on this site, we are not aiming to distract from the issues going on and hope you have appreciated the coverage we have granted it. It’s the only thing on people’s minds and strangely, the subjects we tackle weekly are being focused upon with their response to continuing with their events.
As of this writing, WWE is moving ahead with their television shows this week, AEW has a show scheduled for Wednesday, and the UFC is trying to keep this Saturday’s card together.
POST Wrestling is not slowing down its schedule of shows as we have a unique operation that doesn’t require us to shut down and can provide more shows during this period.
Wai Ting and I have been brainstorming many ideas for all scenarios, including the possibility of all companies shutting down for the next while. Regardless, we will have shows and lots to talk about.
This week, shows will include Tuesday’s Rewind-A-Wai that will feature a look at five matches from the career of Jay Lethal as chosen by Espresso Executive Producer Jarrod Black including his famous promo with Ric Flair from 2010 in TNA. This show will be available on the POST Wrestling Café.
There will be a Café Hangout show this week, although Wai and I won’t be recording the show in the same studio and are working on the logistics to allow for phone calls. No guest has been booked yet due to so much uncertainty with the industry and what will be the major news several days from now.
This weekend, Nate Milton will be reunited with Brian Mann for a double-feature review on The Rocky Maivia Picture Show as they chat “The Other Guys” and “Pain & Gain”.
Sunday is WH Park Day with a new Thunderstruck as WH welcomes Case Lowe from the Open the Voice Gate podcast to chat Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Eita from the Super J Cup in July 2016.
Finally, WH will join me Sunday night for the latest POST Puroresu and how the Japanese scene has been impacted over the past month by the coronavirus outbreak.
