Since Matt Hardy allowed his contract with WWE to expire earlier this month, there have been multiple teases of him arriving to All Elite Wrestling and those teases became a reality by the conclusion of the March 18th episode of Dynamite in Jacksonville.
Hardy made his appearance after The Inner Circle (Santana, Ortiz & Jake Hager) defeated Cody, Matt Jackson and Hangman Adam Page to determine which team gets the advantage in the Blood & Guts match on the next Dynamite. While Chris Jericho was belittling The Elite about having the Blood & Guts advantage and having the overall numbers advantage because of their attack on Nick Jackson last week, Matt Jackson picked up a microphone and said that The Elite will not be outnumbered and that he made a phone call to an old friend.
In came flying Vanguard 1 which is the signature drone of Matt Hardy and in the rafters of Daily’s Place was Matt Hardy who’ll be joining The Elite in the Blood & Guts match.
