WWE has made a handful of announcements for the March 25th episode of NXT on the USA Network. Firstly, there will be two NXT Women’s Championship #1 contender Ladder matches on the show. Kayden Carter and Candice LeRae will go one-on-one and Aliyah and Xia Li will go one-on-one. The winners of those respective matches will join Chelsea Green, Mia Yim and Tegan Nox in a Ladder match to determine the new #1 contender to the NXT Women’s Championship.
That Ladder match was scheduled to take place at TakeOver: Tampa during WrestleMania weekend but due to the Coronavirus outbreak, many things were shifted in the pro wrestling world including the TakeOver event and WWE made the decision to air the planned TakeOver matches on the USA Network starting April 1st.
Also slated for NXT is a message from the current NXT Champion Adam Cole. One-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle is taking on Roderick Strong, and Tyler Breeze will be in action against former EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory.

Rhea Ripley is defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36. WWE is taping matches for WrestleMania this week from the WWE Performance Center and locations that are not yet known to the public.
