Florida issues statewide stay-at-home order

The state of Florida has issued a stay-at-home order that begins on April 2nd at 12:01 AM EST.

The Governor of Florida, Rob DeSantis announced that the state is issuing a statewide stay-at-home order that will go into effect on Thursday at 12:01 AM EST. A news conference was held today concerning the news and the new order will allow for only necessary movements. All residents of Florida must limit their movements and interactions outside of their homes only to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities. DeSantis added the following about the stay-at-home order:

“This is another 30 day period at this point, even though there are a lot of places in Florida with low infection rates, it makes sense to make this move now.”

WWE has been taping and hosting shows from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando for the past several weeks and a portion of the WrestleMania card was taped at the Performance Center as well. This coming Friday’s episode of SmackDown has already been taped, as well as the entire WrestleMania 36 card and the RAW after WrestleMania.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reported on March 31st that All Elite Wrestling moved their Dynamite and AEW Dark tapings to an undisclosed location. The company is keeping the location of their new setting private to prevent fans from showing up.

POST Wrestling reached out to WWE for a comment about the statewide stay-at-home order and this article will be updated if we hear back.
