Matt Hardy invites Chris Jericho to his compound for the "Elite Deletion", Cody advances in the TNT Championship tournament and Jon Moxley makes a comment about "putting smiles on faces"

During tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT, the recent AEW signee Matt Hardy issued a challenge to former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. During a promo segment, Hardy issued the challenge and invited Jericho to the Hardy Compound for the “Elite Deletion”.

While promoting their No Holds Barred match for the AEW World Championship that’s set for next week, Jon Moxley and Jake Hager were a part of video package and during Moxley’s portion of the package, he said he and Hager are not in the business of “putting smiles on faces” which was WWE’s slogan going into WrestleMania 36.

Cody defeated Shawn Spears in the main event of the show to advance to the semi-finals of the TNT Championship tournament. Cody will face the winner of Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara. On next week’s show, Lance Archer is taking on Colt Cabana and the winner of that match will be facing the winner of Kip Sabian vs. Dustin Rhodes. The finals of the TNT Championship tournament are scheduled to take place at AEW’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on May 23rd.
