After a full year as a part of the company, Angelina Love and Ring of Honor came to terms on a new contract. The announcement was made on ROH’s official website. Angelina Love commented on her decision to re-sign with ROH and she said she’s looking forward to continue adding to the company’s women’s division.
“I am extremely happy to have re-signed with Ring Of Honor. I’m very happy working here and look forward to continuing to take the women’s division to new heights this year and beyond. The Allüre will continue to dominate. Just watch.”
Angelina Love debuted in ROH at their joint-G1 Supercard event with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in April of 2019. At the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view this past September, Love defeated Kelly Klein to win the Women Of Honor World Championship before dropping it back to Klein the following month. Prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, Ring of Honor announced a tournament to crown a new ROH Women’s World Champion and that tournament was set to kickoff this month.
There was going to be an all-female seminar/camp held at the ROH dojo in late March to find some potential additions to the tournament.
