The overnight figures have come in for Friday Night SmackDown that saw the show stay steady with last week’s number and above two-million viewers.

Friday’s episode averaged 2,043,000 viewers on the overnight figures. The show had 2,030,000 viewers in the first hour and grew in the second hour with 2,055,000. The show featured the start of the Intercontinental title tournament and was headlined by Otis selecting Braun Strowman as his tag partner against The Miz & John Morrison.

If the final number stays at this level, it will be SmackDown’s best number since April 17th, although still on the lower end of SmackDown’s viewership this year. Last week’s final number was 2,025,000 viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown did 0.5 in the first hour and 0.6 in the second.

With next week’s show taped, they advertised several big matches for the May 22nd edition of SmackDown with the following announcements:
*Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair in a Champion vs. Champion match
*AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in the Intercontinental title tournament
*Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus in the Intercontinental title tournament
*Otis & Mandy Rose vs. Dolph Ziggler & Sonya Deville

The final number for SmackDown reflecting the entire country will be released Monday.
