After a week where WWE Raw stopped the bleeding with audience erosion, their numbers fell this week with one of the lowest ever.

The three-hour show on Monday averaged 1,757,000 viewers and would be their second-lowest in modern history trailing the May 4th episode two weeks ago. This week’s number was less than the taped episode from Christmas Eve 2018 that was the previous low figure of the modern era with 1,775,000 viewers.

The show began with 1.82 million viewers with Edge and Randy Orton starting the show to set up their match for Backlash. The second hour was nearly identical with 1.81 million viewers but dropped 9% in the third hour to 1.64 million. The third featured a two-minute overrun with the Drew McIntyre vs. King Corbin match and involvement with Bobby Lashley to end the show.

The show was down 8.4% in total viewers while the 18-49 demographic dropped 10.5% with 0.51 in the category. That said, Raw registered #1, #2, and #5 among cable programs on Monday.

The largest loss was among males 18-34 that were down 12.7% this week with the 18-49 and 25-49 demos decreasing 10% each. Males 12-34 were the only key group increasing with a 5.5% jump.

From the first hour to the third, females 18-49 dropped 21% throughout the show and females 12-34 dropped by 10%. Males 12-34 increased 5.5% from the first to the third hour and is the second straight week that demo has increased throughout the show.

Next week’s episode will feature a United States title match between Andrade and Apollo Crews and is the only match advertised as of now.
