Last month, Karrion Kross made his NXT TV debut when he ambushed Tommaso Ciampa from behind while Ciampa was in the process of addressing his recent loss to Johnny Gargano. Since then, Kross has wrestled twice on NXT TV with Scarlett by his side. On tonight’s episode of NXT, following his victory, Kross was confronted by the returning Tommaso Ciampa.
Ciampa informed Kross that he understands why he attacked him and it’s because he wanted to make a point by coming after one of the top guys in NXT. Ciampa added that at NXT TakeOver: In Your House on June 7th, he and Kross are going to go one-on-one and Ciampa told Kross, “Welcome to the main event”.
