Ric Flair last appeared on WWE programming in-person last November for WWE’s ‘Crown Jewel’ event in Saudi Arabia. He was one of two representatives in a ten-man tag team match and on Flair’s team was Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.
Prior to that, Flair was a part of the RAW Reunion special in July of 2019 where he and fellow WWE personnel and former talents joined Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring for a beer bash. Over the years, Flair has made sporadic appearances with his latest taking place during the Triple H 25th Anniversary celebration. Paul Levesque called Ric Flair during SmackDown on FaceTime and Flair began to shed tears while speaking about his friendship with Levesque.
On May 12th, it was reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Sting was no longer under contract with WWE.
