AEW has announced another change to Saturday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view with the news that Rey Fenix is off the card due to injury.

Fenix was set to compete in the nine-person Casino Ladder Match but sustained an injury during Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. He will be replaced in the ladder match by Joey Janela.

AEW stated that Fenix is not expected to miss significant time. A mystery participant will still be included in the match that also features Darby Allin, Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy, Kip Sabian, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky, and Luchasaurus.

The match begins with two participants and a new entrant joins the match every 90 seconds as they attempt to grab a chip hanging above the ring for a future AEW title shot. Participants can grab the chip at any time during the match.
