We have several updates regarding WWE as they began three consecutive days of tapings on Monday.
The original schedule featured two episodes of Raw being taped Monday and two episodes of SmackDown taped on Tuesday. We were told that each show was taping one show on Monday and one show on Tuesday, so they have broken up Raw and SmackDown rather than taping both brand’s shows in one day.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported Monday that Matt Riddle is set to move to the main roster imminently. We are told at POST Wrestling that is accurate with Riddle set for the call-up.
Riddle is scheduled for a cage match against Timothy Thatcher this Wednesday with Kurt Angle as the special referee.
