**At the UFC Apex, there are signs stating that protective masks must be worn at all times and a failure to comply will lead to one’s removal.

**TSN5 in Canada will be airing a post-fight show this Saturday night at approximately 11:30 pm Eastern.

**UFC president Dana White spoke with TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter and had the following notes:
*A proposed fight between Conor McGregor and Anderson Silva is not something he is interested in making
*He isn’t interested in anyone fighting McGregor right now
*He indicated they are running weekly events through July 18th (it appears with one-off week for July 4th)
*Jon Jones just signed a new deal with the UFC and is asking for “an absurd amount of money” to fight Francis Ngannou and added they don’t have live gate revenue now but noted “Jon Jones has a contract and he has a good one”
*When asked about not pulling Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza immediately when he arrived in Jacksonville, White said he wanted to get the test results and didn’t want to remove him after the first disclosure Jacare made on the Wednesday of UFC 249 fight week
*He said that they will be the first sport back with fans in attendance
*White denied any truth to the story he is going to purchase The Palms in Las Vegas

**White also spoke to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto with the following highlights from their discussion:
*He said they are now using the throat swab test in lieu of the nasal swab, he said personally, he prefers the nasal swab over the throat
*Rose Namajunas is fighting Jessica Andrade next on a date to be determined and it’s likely the winner of that fight will challenge Zhang Weili for the strawweight title
*As of now, they are back on schedule after June 6th and are planning to run Saturdays
*The Contender Series is back this summer and they are re-launching Ultimate Fighter on Fight Pass with some changes to the format
*White added that he thinks Mike Tyson has something line up to fight and is now supportive of him doing it after initially not wanting him to

**Jon Jones came back on Thursday calling the assertion that he asked for more money a “lie” and that he never put out a number to fight Ngannou:

It’s interesting to just sit here and watch your boss lie to the camera like this. We never discussed any increase in pay. Immediately the conversation was that I already made enough. I never made a number offer.

**In another interview, Dana White told Dan Le Batard that the promotion’s apparel deal with Reebok is coming to an end and that they are in the process of speaking with other companies regarding a new one.

**Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting reported that Evan Dunham and Herbert Burns have agreed to fight at a 150-pound catchweight next weekend at the UFC 250 card in Las Vegas.

**Next Saturday, TSN 1/4/5 in Canada will be airing the UFC 250 prelims beginning at 6 pm Eastern and a post-fight show at 1 am on TSN4.

**The Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts Awards have postponed their annual ceremony that was scheduled for July 8th in Las Vegas. Instead, they will expand their nomination period to cover January 1st, 2019 through June 30th, 2020, and voting will be open until August 18th. They are hoping to host their awards ceremony in October on a date and location to be announced.

**Next week, we will be joined by MMA Junkie & USA Today’s Mike Bohn prior to UFC 250 for an interview on the site.
