MLW signs streaming deal with DAZN

Major League Wrestling has signed a U.S. streaming deal with DAZN. Additional details about the deal can be found in the article.

Major League Wrestling’s programming will be on the DAZN streaming service as the organization made the official announcement on their social media platforms. In the article on MLW’s website, it reads that MLW has arrived on DAZN and can be watched on the service anytime and anywhere.

DAZN’s streaming service hosts Boxing, Bellator and Futbol content. Both F4WOnline and PWInsider provided additional details about the deal and per F4WOnline, the amount of years on the deal and the financials have not been disclosed. Episodes of MLW Fusion and the recent Opera Cup event went up on DAZN today. MLW will be a part of the weekly schedule and their live shows will stream on DAZN as well.

PWInsider was informed that the DAZN deal is not a replacement for beIN SPORTS. MLW has also had talks with ESPN dating back to early 2020 about MLW content streaming on their platform[s]. Once ESPN began airing WWE content leading up to WrestleMania 36, the conversations between MLW and ESPN slowed down.

Court Bauer did an interview with MLW.com about the state of the organization with the COVID-19 pandemic going on and Bauer said that MLW has enough content to carry them into mid-2021.
