AEW Dynamite notes: Tag title match next week, Dark Order attempts to recruit Colt Cabana

Set for next week's episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT is an AEW World Tag Team Title match, MJF vs. Bully Gunn, Best Friends vs. Jericho & Guevara and more. Within this article is also a recap of the June 10th edition of Dynamite.

After scoring multiple wins in a row on AEW Dark, Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall are going to be challenging Kenny Omega and Hangman Page for the AEW World Tag Team Championships on Dynamite on 6/17. Omega and Page are scheduled to defend the AEW World Tag Titles against Best Friends at Fyter Fest.

Colt Cabana was defeated by Sammy Guevara on tonight’s show and after his loss, Cabana was approached by Brodie Lee and the Dark Order. Brodie Lee offered Cabana the opportunity to join the group. During a backstage interview with Dasha Gonzalez, Cabana walked into a locker room that had a “Dark Order” sign on the door.

Also set for next week’s program is a singles match between MJF and Billy Gunn, a tag team bout that will see Best Friends (Chuckie T & Trent) take on Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. If Guevara and Jericho win, they will replace Best Friends in the AEW World Tag Team Title match at Fyter Fest. Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian will take on The Young Bucks on 6/17 and also on that show, Cody’s open challenge for the TNT Championship continues.

AEW’s socials have a video up of Darby Allin skating with Tony Hawk and on tonight’s Dynamite, Justin Roberts returned to ring announcing and FTR made their in-ring debuts against The Butcher and The Blade and got the win. Their “Shatter Machine” finishing maneuver is now called the “Goodnight Express”.
