Cody captured the TNT Championship in the tournament finals at Double Or Nothing by defeating Lance Archer. Cody declared that every week he’d be defending the title on Dynamite and thus far, he has successfully defended the title against Jungle Boy and Marq Quen of Private Party. Following his win over Quen, Cody was approached by Jake Hager which led to a brawl between The Inner Circle and Cody, Private Party and Matt Hardy. Cody then got on the microphone and stated that Hager can have his TNT Title match at Fyter Fest.
