The June 12th episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the go-home show for WWE’s Backlash pay-per-view on Sunday. Adding on to the lineup for tomorrow’s show is a contract signing for Jeff Hardy and Sheamus’ match at Backlash. Hardy and Sheamus have been at odds dating back to when Hardy first re-returned to WWE post-WrestleMania. Their feud has now transitioned into a drunk driving angle that has played out over the past two weeks.
Also on the show, for the first time since the 4/10 episode of SmackDown, Tucker Knight will be back in action as he’ll reunite with Mr. Money In The Bank Otis. They’ll be teaming with Universal Champion Braun Strowman to take on Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and John Morrison.
