STARDOM set to host show on 6/21 with a limited number of fans

After having not running a show since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, World Wonder Ring STARDOM will be back in action on June 21st in Tokyo, Japan.

On June 3rd, Bushiroad made the announcement that both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and World Wonder Ring STARDOM were in the process of starting shows back up. New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s events are already under way and they are in the beginning stages of the New Japan Cup tournament and will have their first show with fans in attendance on July 11th. As for STARDOM, it was announced today via the promotion’s social media platforms that they will be back in action on June 21st.

STARDOM’s athletes and staff underwent antibody testing and all were cleared by the physician. There will be fans in attendance and limited seating is available. Tickets are first come, first serve and they go on-sale this Wednesday for STARDOM Fan Club members only. The card will be announced on the day of the show and the show will be available to watch on STARDOM World within a week of it concluding.

Due to the limited amount of space inside Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo, flower tributes will not be set up for the late Hana Kimura and STARDOM asked that those who want to pay tribute in that manner, wait until her memorial service.

STARDOM published a series of guidelines to their official website to ensure the safety of fans, performers and staff as they are set to return to action for the first time since March. Fans will not be able to sit near the wrestlers’ entry and exit ports. STARDOM is prohibiting loud vocal support for wrestlers and throwing streamers.

There will be a pre-screening for fans to see if they have symptoms of COVID-19. To read the complete list of guidelines and safety precautions, click this link.
