AEW Dynamite notes: Abadon officially joins AEW, Anna Jay helped by Dark Order, Moxley

The 6/17 edition of AEW Dynamite saw Dark Order attempt to recruit both Colt Cabana and Anna Jay, Abadon officially signing with the company and much more was set up for next week's show.

Leading up to the 6/17 episode of AEW Dynamite, the official Dynamite debut of Anna Jay was being promoted and she took on Abadon in singles competition. Abadon was able to best Anna Jay and after the match, it was announced via AEW’s social media platforms that Abadon has signed with the company and is officially a member of AEW after competing for the company on several occasions in the past.

Once Abadon left the ringside area, Dark Order, specifically Stu Grayson and Evil Uno made their way to the ringside area and offered Colt Cabana the opportunity to team with Brodie Lee next week against Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss and that match has been made official. Also, Dark Order members helped Anna Jay out of the ring and with assistance from Brodie Lee, Anna was helped to the back by Dark Order.

There was a segment during-which Big Swole hopped in the driver seat of Britt Baker’s automobile and put Baker in a dumpster.

Set for next week’s program is the return of AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. Taz will be on commentary for Moxley’s match. Sammy Guevara is going to meet Matt Hardy in singles competition, FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) will be back in action as they’ll take on Q.T. Marshall and Dustin Rhodes. Also, Wardlow and Luchasaurus are going to clash in a Lumberjack match.
